Model chat history
Hello,
I am new to navigating and using LLMs I was wondering for this particular model how do we maintain some sort of chat history so there is some context for subsequent queries. The naive way would be to feed in a fixed length (n) previous queries to the model. Is there perhaps something built in that does this and I missed in the docs?
Does this model work well in the conversational setting? If not do I stick with keeping my queries independent?
Thanks!
+1 also interested in this. Also wondering how to input 1 image and have multi-turn chat conversation with that image.
Its funny I'm sitting here having similar issues where it forgets the image context after asking it a question and don't know how to retain that. Any solutions?
I've attempted to move the <|image|> tag to the last message, but it is quite inconsistent.
